Lean Hogs Up in Moderate Volume


After falling for 7 days,  Lean Hogs were higher Monday. Volume was moderate.  Bear spreading has dominated  lean hogs and likely will continue to dominate trading.

Trade volume in Live Cattle was very active to start out the first full week of the year.  Volume on February was 44,402 contracts. Choice boxed beef was higher Monday on light volume. There is a change occurring  with the new year with strongest beef primals primal prices the middle meats and lower primal sections.
