Cows have been found in Brazil with Mad Cow Disease and exports to China have been stopped.  It could generate talk of US exports to China but during July Russia surpassed beef exports to China and likely will likely increase.   Chinese beef buyers on Monday said they did not anticipate finding cows would have any immediate impact on purchases.  The cows were found with ‘atypical’ Mad Cow Disease.

Brazil supplies about 40% of China’s beef. Chinese buyers were still setting up exports on Monday with Brazilian suppliers.
