LIVESTOCK AM OUTLOOK
Cold severe weather has reduced kill on Tuesday. Temperatures will moderate by mid-week in many areas and snow in South and Southwest will melt. Cattle are backed up but if people aren’t at packing plants, there isn’t anything a packer can do about it now.
Weather has stopped movement to packers but it also has stopped consumers shopping. Hogs will come to town. Pork market is doing good and look for good exports going forward.
