MORNING LIVESTOCK OUTLOOK
Normally, beef sales slow in January and the extra weight cattle in the North and Midwest are not going to help prices except if they pay premiums for cattle they want. Expect to see buyers discounting overfed cattle.
Looks like it was a good weekend for pork sales at least in the morning. All primals were up on early cutout Monday but does little to change 5 day average.
