Cocoa’s longer-term demand outlook will continue to be positive as long as COVID vaccines are on-track for widespread use while new COVID case counts decline.
COFFEE
Coffee prices have been pressured by global demand concerns since the end of 2019, and will continue to do so until vaccines receive widespread usage.
COTTON
With the strong demand tone, the market remains in a steady uptrend. March cotton inched higher on the session yesterday but inside the consolidation of the past week.
SUGAR
Sugar prices continue to benefit from improved near-term demand prospects and remain in close proximity to its multi-year high in mid-January. An inability to benefit from significant carryover support from a key outside market may be seen as a negative development.
