Higher Beef Prices on Demand
Tuesday boxed beef prices were higher but like Monday, load movement was light. Beef movement was just 131 loads. The Cold Storage report showed December stocks were up 4 percent from November and 11 percent higher than a year ago.
Hams compared to loins have flip flopped compared to prices in December and November. It is like the air has been let out of a ham balloon.
Pork is moving because loins are cheap especially compared to beef.
