Tom Hoffland

Tom graduated from Millikin University in Decatur with a biology degree in 1980 and started working for Tabor Grain in 1981. After completing the merchandiser training program, Tom was placed in Kansas City where he traded corn and beans in Iowa, Missouri and Kansas. He moved to the home office in Decatur in 1985 and worked for Tabor Grain and ADM refined oils. Tom left ADM in 1988 to join Gelderman in Chicago, servicing commercial grain customers from the CBOT trading floor. Gelderman later became EDF Mann, then MF Global. In 2011, Tom joined the Archer Financial  Services team in Chicago and has been there ever since. Tom's focus is commercial grain accounts, their hedging needs and the impact on their business of cash/futures pricing trends. In the fall of 2018, Tom and his wife moved his operation to Boca Raton, Florida where he established the AFS Boca Raton branch office.
